NATIONAL SALES MANAGER - INDUSTRIAL/OFFSHORE

LOCATION:

This position is remote based and the successful candidate will ideally be located between Manchester and Scotland.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Responsible for sales nationally of the Industrial product portfolio, specific Offshore and MRO experience/knowledge is highly desirable. Knowledge of the wastewater and water management industries, pumping applications and associated products/technology will  be advantageous. Developing relationships with new and existing customers, providing technical support and promoting products and solutions for suitable industrial and offshore applications and projects, predominantly throughout the North of the UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:​

- Strong industrial experience
- Offshore pump knowledge advantageous
- Excellent negotiation skills  
- A solutions mindset with the ability to identify and address the specific needs of individual customers
- Ability to identifying emergent markets and market opportunities
- Customer-service centric
- A natural rapport builder and experienced sales professional  
- A consultative approach with the ability to simplify complex information
- Self motivated and focused on metrics and results
- Strong in conducting presentations and pitches
- Mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years' relevant experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work based experience with HVAC products desirable and/or an apprenticeship or qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering advantageous, however not a necessity should there be relevant industry experience. Product training and development will be provided.

ON OFFER:

This position offers a highly competitive base salary, a company vehicle and additional potential earnings in the region of £14,000 - £20,000. Not only is there a very strong financial package, the organisation also provide regular training and upskilling days, have a supportive and approachable leadership team and set their people up for success, from day one.
