AREA SALES MANAGER

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Large multinational organisation, market leader, stable & growing

Global leader & OEM in the HVAC, Industrial and building services industries. This organisation is a market leader in their space with over 140 years of innovative engineering history behind them. With highly regarded, top quality German engineered products and a commitment to service excellence, they are a driving force in sustainable technologies and solutions.

LOCATION:

Work from home - Region covered is South East England & East London (Peterborough, South to Brighton, and all counties East).

​

YOU:

Relevant experience with a mechanical or electrical OEM is highly advantageous. Experience developing relationships and new business opportunities within the building services industry, with HVAC consultants, engineers and large commercial construction projects and M&E contractors. A team player with strong self motivation, excellent organisational skills and an intimate understanding of the processes and protocols within the building services sector and commercial construction projects space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:​

  • Managing current relationships and developing new commercial relationships

  • Market research and networking within key decision makers relating to commercial construction and maintenance projects

  • Identifying sales opportunities and negotiating customer contracts

  • Managing and developing a database of business within the designated region of South East England and East London

  • Meeting and exceeding specified KPI's and quarterly and annual budgets

  • Developing a strong pipeline of new business opportunities

  • Technically consulting and providing important insight into products, services and order updates to customers

  • Being a key point of contact for the organisation in relation to new business enquiries, quotes and tenders

  • Conducting product demonstrations and attending exhibitions and relevant trade and industry events

  • Sharing market intelligence with internal and external team members to maximise commercial opportunities

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work based experience with HVAC products desirable and/or an apprenticeship or qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering advantageous, however not a necessity should there be relevant industry experience. Product training and development will be provided.
